No less than 850 km of hiking trails lead up into the fascinating Alpine world of the Stubai Alps. Breathtaking views and impressive panoramas are the reward for the way up. In addition, four mountain cableways are waiting to comfortably ferry hikers and mountaineers up to the starting point of many tours.

Delightful hiking, scaling the mountains or testing your own limits. Various theme trails in Stubaital are waiting to be explored – from the gourmet route trail, the Franz-Senn-trail and the Trail of Reflection to the Alpine Flora Nature Trail and the Panoramic Trail all the way to the WhiteWaterTrail and the Glacier Path. Audio guides are available to provide the necessary background information. The 120 km long Stubai high-altitude trail is also a truly unique experience. Here you hike for several days from lodge to lodge, or negotiate specific sections on a day trip. There is no better way to experience the beauty of the primaeval nature!

Schlick 2000

In the Schlick 2000 hiking area, the way to the “Stubaiblick” viewing platform at 2,160 metres is a highlight in itself. Because the short panoramic trail is lined by unusual seating options designed by Stubai artists. The panoramic lake and a barefoot trail complete the offer for families and nature lovers.

Serles mountain railway

This hiking area fascinates guests of the Stubaital. Especially “Serles” mountain, beckons to enjoy relaxing yet also exciting hiking. The “Serlesblick” platform, which you’ll pass on a hike from Koppeneck upper terminus to the highest located monastery in Europe, “Maria Waldrast”, offers breathtaking views of the impressive “Serles” mountain.

Elferlifte

The hiking area around the Elferlifte is not only a local recreation area for  the Greater Innsbruck area, but also particularly popular with guests. Flat to steep, short to long hiking routes promise hikers young and old, ambitious climbers and those who prefer a more leisurely approach, but also families, a perfect hike.

Top of Tyrol

Experience the feeling of freedom at dizzying heights – two viewing platforms at once in Stubaital offer the opportunity to enjoy this exhilarating atmosphere. Stubai Glacier, Austria’s largest glacier ski area, is home to the summit platform TOP OF TYROL. At 3,210 m altitude, the eyes wander across 109 mountains topping 3,000 m and promise a unique nature experience.

Climbing

 

15 via ferratas and the 10 climbing crags create new challenges for sporty guests. A special adrenaline rush can be experienced on the high ropes courses in the valley.
